Cleaning Mini Blinds

At some point in time, all of us have come acrossmini blinds at the local home improvement center. They look really nice sitting there, although no one wants to spend a few days removing the dust from them. Regardless of what you may hear

Detail oriented.

It will probably seem obvious, but you should close the slats prior to dusting. Weekly blind dusting is the best way to go, using a lamb's wool duster, as lamb's wool will naturally attract dust and can help prevent buildup as well.

If lamb's wool isn't available, a paintbrush may also do the trick. Make sure you placesome towels underneath the blinds to catch anyexcess dust. If you want to be thorough, youcan also take the blinds down and clean them

Spring Cleaning is something that my Mother used to Do
Written by Saundra Jackson

Spring cleaning is something most mother's used to do,
even my mother.

You see my mother had eight girls. Yes, you read right eight girls. And with eight girls, you had your own cleaning crew. So my mother thought. Now all eight of us didn't agree with her, but we each had a job.

Momma was determined to get that house cleaned for spring. Now Spring cleaning is a time honored tradition and we girls dreaded when that time came.

Today I discovered if you follow these simple steps iit doesn't take a lot of time and the kids won't mind pitching in.
